On October 30, 2025, at the 4th Ghana Philanthropy Awards held at the beautiful La Palm Royal Beach Hotel in Accra, our Founder and CEO was honored with the Hero of Change in Disability and Inclusion Award, a truly humbling and inspiring recognition.
This prestigious award celebrates outstanding leadership, philanthropic excellence, and an unwavering commitment to promoting dignity, equal access, and life changing opportunities for individuals with disabilities. It affirms the passion, advocacy, and selfless service that have shaped the Foundation’s mission from day one.
According to organizers, the Founder’s heart for service and relentless dedication to uplifting communities continue to inspire many across Ghana and beyond. Through the Alexis Miranda Foundation, countless children and adults living with disabilities have gained access to vital support, empowerment programs, and a community that sees their potential rather than their limitations.
