African Allied Health Network Summit (AAHN) 2026

๐Ÿ“ Ghana | ๐Ÿ—“ July 23โ€“24, 2026

The African Allied Health Network Summit (AAHN) 2026 convenes leading voices across the allied health ecosystem to address critical gaps in healthcare delivery across Africa. Many countries on the continent continue to face significant shortages in trained personnel, essential equipment, and healthcare infrastructure. These challenges disproportionately affect the disability community, where access to inclusive care and specialized support remains limited.

At the same time, the African diaspora represents a vast pool of highly skilled professionals who are eager to contribute to the continentโ€™s development but often lack structured pathways for meaningful engagement. Bridging this gap presents a unique opportunity to strengthen healthcare systems through collaboration, knowledge exchange, and shared innovation.

AAHN 2026 is designed to foster collaboration between continent-based practitioners and diaspora experts, enhancing global learning while promoting culturally grounded and context-specific approaches to care. The summit will explore innovative, systems-level solutions across key areas including autism, mental health, public health, rehabilitation, and related fields.

This yearโ€™s summit will feature 4โ€“5 highly curated interdisciplinary panel discussions, bringing together diverse global perspectives. Following the official announcement, a limited number of additional experts, practitioners, and thought leaders are invited to submit abstracts for consideration. Selected contributors will play a vital role in shaping rich, solution-driven conversations that advance inclusive and sustainable healthcare across Africa.
