We had the honor of visiting Autism Awareness Care and Training Centre in Ghana, Aact Ghana an experience that will stay with us for a long time.
We received such a warm and joyful welcome from the students and staff, which made the visit even more special. It was truly heartwarming to witness the sense of community and care that fills this space.

At the heart of this incredible work is Mrs. Serwah Quaynor, often referred to as Auntie Serwaa , the “Mother of Autism” in Ghana. Her journey began with love for her son, and from that love, she built a powerful movement of advocacy, education, and support for individuals and families impacted by autism.
Alexis especially loved meeting and spending time with “Auntie Serwaa,” a moment that meant so much to all of us.

During our visit, we were proud to present the young adults with the second tranche of their Employment Engagement Grant, as well as care bags for the dedicated teachers who continue to pour so much into their students every day.

What Mrs. Quaynor has created is more than a center, it is a safe haven, a source of hope, and a testament to what purpose-driven leadership looks like. Her tireless commitment continues to change lives and challenge perceptions every single day.

We are deeply inspired and grateful for the opportunity to witness this work firsthand. Thank you, Mrs. Quaynor, for your courage, your compassion, and your unwavering dedication to this community.
